Nationality/Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who has settled in India before January 1962. The aspirant can also be a person of Indian origin who migrated from other countries and contains a certificate of eligibility that is issued by the Government of India.
Age limit: The minimum age limit for a candidate is 20 years and maximum age limit is 28 years.

Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is to have a Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. There are three sections in this exam that are English language, reasoning and quantitative aptitude. The number of questions in English language is 30, in Reasoning Ability are 35 and in Quantitative Aptitude are 35. There are total 100 questions. Each correct answer will be counted for 1 mark each. There are negative marks for each wrong answer and that is 0.25 marks. The total time allotted for the examination is 1 hour.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2018
The IBPS Mains Exam consists of 4 sections that are English language, General/Financial Awareness, Reasoning Ability and Computer/Quantitative Aptitude. The number of questions in general/financial awareness is 50, in English language are 40, in reasoning ability and computer aptitude are 50 and in quantitative ability are 50. There are total 190 questions. Each correct answer will be counted for 1 mark each. There are negative marks for each wrong answer and that is 0.25 marks. The total time allotted for the examination is 160 minutes.

How to Apply for IBPS Clerk Exam?
In order to apply for the exam, then you can do it only through online mode. Moreover, note down that the application form will not be considered if the provided details are not true. Even if the fields are vacant, then also the application would not be considered. The application fees for General category is Rs. 600/- while for SC/ST/PWD is only Rs 100/-.
Follow these steps for applying online:

Click on the official site of IBPS that is ibps.in.

Then, click on the link titled “Click here for New Registration”.

After reading all the instructions, click Continue.

Fill all the required information.

Then, click on ‘Save and Next ‘button.

Now, upload the scanned photo and signature according to given dimensions. Then, click on ‘Next’ button.

Then, enter your academic qualifications. Then opt for the order of bank preferences. Click on ‘Save and Next’ button.

Preview your complete application form once again. In case, if you want to make any changes, please do it. Once you click the Submit button, you cannot make any changes in the online application.

Next, pay the application fee in Online Mode only.

The payment can be done using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS (Immediate Payment Service), Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets by providing information asked accordingly.

Then an extra page of the form will be displayed where candidates should follow the instructions and fill the requisite details.

In case, the online transaction is not completed, candidates should login again with their provisional registration number and password and pay the application fees online.

Candidates should take a printout of the electronic receipt and online application form. Please make sure that if the same cannot be generated, then the online transaction was not successful.

After you submit your payment information, please wait for the intimation from server, do not press back or refresh button.

Candidates who are paying using their Credit Card, all charges will be in Indian Rupees. So, if you are using a non-Indian credit card, then your bank will change it into your local currency based on the current exchange rates.

In order to secure your data, close the browser window after your transaction is completed.

Click on Submit button.

After you submit the online application, registration number and password will be displayed on the screen. Take a print-out of it. Take a note of the provisional registration number and password. Further, an e-mail and SMS will be sent regarding the provisional registration number and password. Later, if the candidate wants to review the application form, then it can be reopened by using this number and password.

Those who want to download the admit card for the exam can do so 15 days before the examination. The admit card for the exam will be released 15 days prior to the exam. The candidates should carry the admit card to the exam venue. Following are the instructions to download admit card:
